Dr. Roy Petel, Director General

Dr. Petel holds a B.Med.Sc. in Medical Science and a D.M.D. from Tel Aviv University with specialization in Pediatric Dentistry from Hebrew University and Hadassah School of Dental Medicine in Jerusalem. Dr. Petel is a clinical instructor at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Hadassah School of Dental Medicine and formerly a lecturer at the School of Education at Tel Aviv University. Dr. Petel has many years of experience in private practice, is involved in research and has presented at international conferences. He is a member of the Israel Society of Dentistry for Children, The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, The International Association of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Israel Society of Clinical Hypnosis. In December 2009, Dr. Petel was named Secretary General of the Israel Society of Dentistry for Children.

Dr. Ziva Luria-Har Zion, Associate Dental Director

Dr. Luria-Har Zion holds a D.M.D. with a specialty in Pediatric Dentistry and an MSc in Dental Medicine from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Dr. Luria has been part of the DVI staff for the past six years and previously was a clinical lecturer at the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Hebrew University, Hadassah School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Eliezer Eidelman, Associate Dental Director

Professor Emeritus Eliezer Eidelman joined DVI as Associate Dental Director in 2007, bringing with him many years of experience in pediatric dentistry. He received his post-graduate specialty training in pediatric dentistry at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, and since then has taught at many US universities as a visiting professor, including University of the Pacific and University of California, San Francisco. Professor Eidelman has published more than 100 scientific articles.

Professor Eidelman was the chairman of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Hadassah School of Dental Medicine from 1980 until 2002.
