Dr. Judith Cahn is the University Executive Director, Programs and Student Support at CUNY Online (City University of New York), where she works with CUNY colleges to help them build the capacity to develop, sustain, and support online programs to offer NYC students greater options and access to higher education. Prior to joining CUNY Online, she was the Director of the Department of Online Education and Support at John Jay College (CUNY). She has been an adjunct Associate Professor at University of Maryland Global Campus. Before joining John Jay College, she held the position as Director of eLearning and Distance Education at Yeshiva University.
Dr. Cahn has over thirty years’ experience in education, educational psychology, and emerging technologies for education as well as in business and enterprises developing technologies for education.
Her background includes an EdD from Yeshiva University, EdM from Harvard University, and BA from NYU.
She is on the Executive Board of Congregation Agudath Sholom in Stamford, CT. She and her husband, Dr. Jeffrey Cahn, have been long-time supporters of DVI, with Jeff volunteering at the clinic many times since 1993. They have 3 children, one of whom lives in Beit Shemesh, Israel, and 7 grandchildren.
