Dr. Bers is a graduate of the University of Maryland Dental School and the dental residency program at Prince George’s General Hospital. He practiced general dentistry in the Washington, DC area for over 45 years.
Over the years, Dr Bers has served in a variety of positions for the Maryland State Dental Association and the Southern Maryland Dental Society and was a member of the Dean’s Faculty at the University of Maryland Dental School. He is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry, a fellow in the Pierre Fauchard Academy and is a regular volunteer in Maryland’s Mission of Mercy dental care program and the Maryland Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped Donated Dental Services Program.
Dr Bers has regularly volunteered at the Trudi Birger Clinic since 2010.
