About Dr. Larry Lockerman

Larry Z.  Lockerman DDS is an Orofacial Pain specialist (USA), Fellow of the American Academy of Orofacial Pain (Retired) and Board Certified by the American Board of Orofacial Pain (Retired) and the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine (Retired). He is a charter member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and has been treating sleep apnea for 40 years. He is a life member of the American Dental Association. Since 1984 he has been treating people with TMJ and face pain disorders.

For 25 years he had been a member of the medical staff at the Northeast Regional Headache Center in Worcester Massachusetts and was the Director of the TMJ/Headache Center at UMass Memorial Medical Center.

He is a Clinical Instructor Orofacial Pain, Department of Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine, Maxillofacial Imaging, at Tel Aviv Univ. School Dental Medicine, and a member of the volunteer medical staff at the Tel Aviv Souransky Medical Center in the Department of Otolaryngology, in Israel.  He is an Instructor of Surgery, University of Massachusetts Medical School. His past appointments include medical staff at the Yale New Haven Pain Management Center, Department of Anesthesia New Haven Connecticut, and Instructor in Neurology at Harvard Medical School.

About Dr. David Weinstein

Dr. David Weinstein has specialized in Periodontics and the placement of dental implants for over 20 years. He received his doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania and completed a general practice residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. He was then awarded a certificate to specialize in the practice of Periodontics from Columbia University. In addition, he is a former Assistant Clinical Professor at the Department of Implant Dentistry at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery, where he supervised and instructed the graduate students on Bone Augmentation and Dental Implant Surgery.

Dr. Weinstein lectures both locally and nationally on topics related to both periodontics and dental implants. His quarterly newsletter contains up-to-date news and information regarding periodontics and dental implants.

He is a concerned and caring periodontist who loves his work and whose patients say they enjoy pain-free treatment. His philosophy of practice includes non-surgical as well as surgical regimens.

Dr. Weinstein is an AFDVI Board member.
